Sunflower oil

Sunflower oil is a plant product made of sunflower seeds. Sunflower oil has a peculiar pleasant smell and taste. Depending on the degree of purification, all the oil sold is divided into crude and refined (processed). Crude oil is only filtrated to remove solids preserving biologically valuable components. It is the most useful kind of sunflower oil with a peculiar harsh odor, and rich dark color.

Refined (purified) oil goes through hydration, neutralization, deodorization, bleaching and freezing. As the result the oil is cleared out of heavy metals, pesticides, and other harmful impurities, free fatty acids that cause smoke when frying in a pan. However, along with the unnecessary impurities, the valuable biological components such as phosphatides, tocopherols and natural vitamins are also removed. Refined sunflower oil is perfect for baking, cooking fried and stewed meals, sauces, mayonnaise because it does not have bitter and harsh   savor. Fresh salads, on the contrary, taste better with the pure crude oil, which completely retains all valuable biological components and natural vitamins. In addition to advantages, crude oil adds distinctive and bright savor to many salads.
